At long, long, LONG last, I’m pleased to announce the launch of our new community site!

You can now set up a profile to keep a track of your comments around the site and in the forums, become fans of celebrities and make friends with other Fametastic users.

The News section of the site should also be nicer to use now too - it’s now easier to see the latest news, photos & videos for each celebrity, see discussions happening right across the site, and share news with other people by email or through Facebook, Digg or Myspace.

If you’ve had an account of Fametastic before (you’ll have one if you’ve commented on the forums) then you should be able to log straight in (you can recover your password if you’ve forgotten it).

If you’ve not had one before, it’s super-easy to join: just fill in your preferred username, your email and your password. (Don’t worry about the email thing - we will never spam you or sell your details to anyone else either. We only need it to verify who you are if you ever need to recover your password.)

We’re going to add more features to the community side of things over the next few weeks but if you have any thoughts of feedback please let me know - email lucy@fametastic.co.uk. We’ve got a full redesign in the works too which will make more of our fab Photos and Video sections.

In the meantime, I hope you enjoy all the new stuff - I love all the new pictures around the place - and that you become my friend!
