Jade Goody touched by message of support from the Beckhams

Victoria Beckham has sent a message of sympathy to Jade Goody.

The WAG sent Jade’s sons - five year old Bobby and four year old Freddie - copies of the shirt worn by husband David Beckham at his new club AC Milan and a handwritten note.

According to the People newspaper, the message read: “Both David and I are genuinely moved by your fight against this cruel illness.

“We are both thinking of you at what must be a terrible time.

“We wanted to offer your two lovely children a gift we hope they will both like. We know they are mad keen football fans so we have sent two AC Milan kits.”

A source close to Jade added: “Jade was so touched that David and Victoria said such kind words to her. She was very happy that they had taken the time to write and think of her boys.

“It genuinely gave her a boost. Her boys think David is brilliant.”

After spending two nights at a hospice, Jade was transferred back to the Royal Marsden Hospital in London yesterday and faces surgery on her bowel as a pain relief measure.
