Lily Allen warned off friendship with Lindsay Lohan

Lily Allen has revealed her growing friendship with Lindsay Lohan is annoying Lindsay’s dad.

Lily and Lindsay got to know each other last year after being introduced by brother and sister Samantha Ronson and Mark Ronson - Lindsay’s girlfriend and Lily’s close friend/producer. The women recently got matching tattoos - saying “shhh!” on their index fingers - and are said to be planning a holiday together.

But Lindsay’s estranged dad Michael Lohan, who thoroughly disapproves of Lindsay’s relationship with Sam, doesn’t like the British singer.

Lily explained: “I got a Twitter from her dad saying ‘Dear Lily, I think you have an alcohol problem that needs addressing. From Michael Lohan.’ I was, like, leave me alone.”

Lily added that she’s confident she’s on top of her previous partying problems now but has a new addiction - Twitter itself: “I do it, like, ten times a day.

“I have a BlackBerry so I can do it while I’m travelling.”
