Fearne CottonFearne Cotton has said she can’t imagine being a perfectly-preened bride in a big white gown.

The TV presenter recently got back together with her ex-boyfriend Jesse Jenkins and while the couple aren’t planning to walk down the aisle together any time soon, she’s already planning what she’ll wear for her big day - and it isn’t a giant white meringue dress.

She told Cosmopolitan: “Something quite vintage I think, with dirty, beige-coloured vintage lace.

“I’d quite like something that I’d helped design or make, and it’d have to be unique and quite old and tatty looking. With maybe some loose flowers thrown in my tousled hair!”

She added that the dress would be most definitely ‘her’: “When I was younger I didn’t have a clue what I was doing. All my clothes came from the local market and they were all cheap and nasty. It wasn’t until my early twenties that I started to understand my body.”

“You’ve got to stick to who you are, what you like, and what your shape is. Look at me and [my best friend Holly Willoughby].

“She wears these amazing Jessica Rabbit strapless gowns and I just think, ‘You’re a goddess!’ But I know that if I wore that, I’d look like an idiot. I just can’t wear that shape and strapless does nothing for me at all.”
