Paris Hilton on her latest puppy: a gift from new boyf Doug Reinhardt

Paris Hilton has revealed that she has a new dog - a gift from new boyfriend Doug Reinhardt.

The socialite is only said to have been dating The Hills star Doug for around a month - but he spent an estimated $10,000 on the tiny teacup Pomeranian pooch during a recent trip the pair took to Japan.

Paris explained: “He bought me a puppy… It’s the cutest dog I’ve ever seen in my life… I love him.

“We were in Tokyo and we were in a pet store and we saw it and I fell in love.”

Paris, who has previously claimed to have 17 dogs, said that the new puppy is causing a few problems at home with the rest of her menagerie: “Marilyn, my little blonde Pomeranian, is very jealous.

“When I’m not there, she’s all over him but as soon as I’m there, then she’s like, ‘Mom, I’m the number one.’”
