The former Atomic Kitten sparked rumours of a split yesterday after writing a series of posts on her Facebook page about having a “sh*tty day” and how she “never thought I would have to go through this again”, before changing her relationship status from “married” to “single” in the early hours of the morning.

Later yesterday, a source close to the reality TV star told she kicked Mark out of their Cheshire house early this week after a row over money: “She said he was not pulling his weight by helping financially.

“She was furious and changed her status and let the world know.”

Kerry was declared temporarily bankrupt last August over an unpaid £82,000 tax bill. Groups of accountants have regularly been spotted visiting their home to discuss the situation and the couple have had to return their hire-purchase Porsches after they were unable to keep up with the payments.

Mark was a taxi driver before he married Kerry in February 2007. They have two children together, Heidi and Max, as well as both having children from other relationships.
