kerry katonaKerry Katona’s husband Mark Croft is reportedly refusing to cooperate with her accountant’s ongoing investigation into her missing millions.

After kicking Mark out of their family home last week following an argument about money, Kerry started an investigation to find what has happened to her severely depleted fortune. She is said to have lost track of around £3million in the two years since she married Mark and has not called off the probe despite reconciling with Mark over the weekend.

Her forensic accountant Frank Cochran told the Mirror: “I offered him the opportunity to meet me but he refused.

“He said, ‘I think you’re doing well enough on your own. I don’t want to talk to you. You are better off talking to Kerry.’”

A source added: “It’s very strange Mark wants nothing to do with the investigation, especially as he and Kerry have been reconciled.”

The source added that the accountants have around 15 “significant leads” and are considering everything from deliberate theft, bad investments, overspending and simply misplacement: “One theory is that Kerry has not spent all her money but that it has been diverted to other accounts.”
