Leona Lewis paid £1million for seven song gig
Leona Lewis was reportedly paid £1million to sing just seven songs at a private party this weekend.
The X Factor winner is currently on a month long holiday before returning to the US later this month to continue work on her next album - but the seven-figure, seven song gig for the 21st birthday of the daughter of Phones4U founder John Caudwell was too good to resist.
A source told the Sun: “Leona was not supposed to do any live shows until next year, but she made an exception.
“It’s a hell of a lot of money and was a great party, so it was fun being involved.”
Billionaire Caudwell has previously paid similar figures for private performances from Diana Ross, Whitney Houston and Rod Stewart.
Do you think Katie Price's marriage to Alex Reid will last?
