Jade Goody’s son Bobby “just wants to see his mum”

Jade Goody’s eldest son five year old Bobby made a late night dash to see his mum on Wednesday night.

Throughout the early stage of her cancer battle, the reality TV star had resisted telling Bobby and his four year old brother Freddie too much about the problem because she was worried they wouldn’t understand so would be more frightened than necessary. Now though the boys now that their mum is dying and are staying with their dad Jeff Brazier as Jade has said she didn’t want them to see her die, so they would remember her as their happy, lively mum.

But a source told the Sun that on Wednesday night, Bobby begged to see Jade and his grandma, Jade’s mum Jackiey Budden drove over to Jeff’s house to pick him up.

The source explained: “Bobby is just old enough now to understand he doesn’t have long with mummy.

“He has been asking why they are not staying at the house with her and he just wants to see his mum.”

Jade has surprised medical staff, who had expected her to die at the start of the week after taking a turn for the worst at the weekend. A source close to Jade has said it’s “typical Jade”, refusing to do what is expected of her and “giving two fingers” to death.
