MadonnaMadonna’s love life reportedly may affect her chances of being allowed to adopt another child from Malawi.

Earlier this month, the star said she’d like to adopted a new sibling for children Lourdes, Rocco and David but after the fuss around David’s adoption in 2006, she said she would only proceed if she had the support of the country’s government and the people.

But a Malawian government source has said that they might object to the new adoption because Madonna has separated from husband Guy Ritchie and is currently rumoured to be dating a younger male model from Brazil.

The senior official told the New York Daily News: “[Madonna’s] relationships may negatively affect the adoption. Our official policy is that we do not encourage our children to be sent into broken homes.”

The Malawai child welfare chief Simon Chisale added: “We do not only look at the material issues, but also the moral standing of prospective adoptive parents, because we do not want our children’s morals to be corrupted.”

In related news, Madonna’s rumoured boyfriend Jesus Luz has denied claims he was unfaithful to the star after being spotted dancing with a model at a party in his native Brazil last week.

He’s quoted as saying: “I have nothing with [this other woman]. The next day I met her on the beach and greeted her normally. The press created this story.”
