amy winehouseMark Ronson is reportedly being drafted in to help Amy Winehouse refocus on her new album.

Mark worked with Amy on her critically acclaimed album ‘Back to Black’, which has sold over 11 million copies worldwide, and her record label Island were hoping to replicate success with her follow-up — but have been disappointed with her dark songs and new style. Mark is said to have initially been reluctant to work with Amy again - following their falling-out over their Quantum of Solace theme last year - but has come around to the idea now.

A source told the Sun: “Mark does not have fond memories of collaborating with Amy last year.

“He said he wouldn’t work with her again until she had her drug problems under control.

“He thinks she’s much better now so has agreed to come on board and do a little work with her on some of her songs.

“They gelled while recording ‘Back To Black’ and he’s hopeful some of that magic could return.”
