Ben Affleck: working with Matt Damon is an excuse to hang out
Ben Affleck has said he hopes to work with long-time friend Matt Damon again in the near future.
The pair shot to fame in 1997’s Good Will Hunting, which they co-wrote and starred in, then starred in Dogma together in 1999 and produced Project Greenlight, as well as making cameos in each other’s movies.
But between their own careers and growing families, the pair have not worked together for over five years.
Ben told People magazine recently: “Matt is always pretty busy but claiming that he’s going to try and slow it down a little bit. Supposedly we’re doing this thing next year.
“Matt lives in Miami, so it’s hard to get a chance to see him. If we work together it’s an excuse to hang out.
“I think it would be the same for anybody. You’re friends when you are young, you have a certain life. Then in your 20s you have a different life. In your 30s you get married and have families.
“We went on vacation last summer. It’s nice. It always has been. He’s got his family ballooning, and we’re doing okay - it’s nice.”
Do you think Katie Price's marriage to Alex Reid will last?
