Jade Goody’s family and friends were joined by hundreds of wellwishers for her funeral yesterday.

Jade’s coffin was carried from the estate where she grew up in Bermondsey through East London to her last home in Upshire, Essex before Jade’s husband Jack Tweed helped carry it into St John the Baptist church in Buckhurst Hill, Essex for the funeral service.

Along the way, flowers were thrown onto the bonnet of the vintage Rolls Royce carrying Jade’s body and funeral director Barry Albin released a dove.
