Geri Halliwell: no more Botox for me, I’d done trying to be perfect

Geri Halliwell has said she’s “done with trying to be perfect” and certainly won’t be getting any more Botox.

The former Spice Girl told Red magazine she has a photo of a well-known Botox-loving star stuck on her fridge as a “anti-Botox warning”: “Years ago in America, when Botox was new, I had some squirted into my forehead and it gave me a headache.

“With some people it looks fine and you don’t notice, but with others it changes their character.

“I’m trying to do without it as an experiment, to allow myself to be a human being. I’m done with trying to be perfect.”

She added that she’s become more comfortable in herself: “To not give a monkey’s what other people think of me, now that is liberating.”
