katie holmes and suri cruiseTom Cruise and Katie Holmes are reportedly preparing to send their daughter to a full time Scientology school after she turns 3 later this week.

The couple have enrolled the little girl in the $11,500 a year New Village Academy in Los Angeles. The private school, which opened last year, is partly funded by the Cruises’ friends Will Smith & wife Jada Pinkett Smith and uses ‘Study technology’, the teaching method devised by Scientology founder L Ron Hubbard. The school is officially secular, with teachers from a number of faiths, but many of the key faculty members are prominent Scientologists.

A source told the Mail on Sunday: “The children have a lot of responsibilities from a very young age.

“The school is particularly strict about nutrition, demanding a low-carb, low-sodium and low-sugar organic diet.”

The source added though that like many mums, Katie is worried how she’ll cope after being virtual inseparable from the little girl for the last three years: “Katie is understandably a little anxious about being separated from Suri.

“But she and Tom are going to start trying for their second child in May so it’s a perfect timing really.”
