Nick Lachey & Vanessa Minnillo’s relationship “on the rocks”

Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo are reportedly on the verge of splitting up.

The couple caused controversy when they were spotted kissing shortly before Nick’s 2006 divorce from Jessica Simpson but their relationship still bloomed.

However source close to the pair told the New York Daily News that the couple are “on the rocks big time” now: “They argue all the time, and Nick is done with her.

“The relationship has been over for a while, but he’s too nice a guy to end things completely.”

Nick is reportedly trying to relaunch his pop career and is also producing a reality show for MTV called Taking the Stage and the source added: “He feels like she’s holding him back, careerwise.”
