Ioan Gruffudd and wife expecting their first child

Ioan Gruffudd has confirmed he’s set to become a first time dad later this year.

A publicist for the Fantastic Four star and his wife Alice Evans yesterday confirmed that Alice is expecting their first child in the autumn.

The couple met on the set of 102 Dalmations in 2002 and married in late 2007.

Ioan recently expressed his desire to start a family with Alice, saying: “I have my eyes on a brood of three.

“Ideally I would love a little daughter born in the same month as Alice, because then she would be this strong-headed, fun-loving young thing and it would be great to have two women with that kind of energy in the house.”
