The Hills stars Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt married yesterday evening.

The couple eloped to Mexico at the start of the year but had to undergo a second ceremony in the US to make their marriage legally binding in the country. They had originally planned to remarry in a civil ceremony but Spencer changed his mind at the last minute, saying he’d rather give Heidi the big white wedding she’d always wanted.

Last night’s ceremony took place at the Westminster Presbyterian Church in Pasadena, California in front of around 200 guests - including their Hills co-stars and friends.

Heidi wore a custom-made $19,000 Monique Lhuillier dress and over $1million of jewels from Neil Lane. Her sister Holly was her maid of honour, with Spencer’s sister Stephanie as her bridesmaid and his niece Ava as the flower girl. Spencer and his groomsmen all wore black Ermenegildo Zegna suits.

The couple were married by Pastor Twining F Campbell and according to an onlooker, exchanged standard vows and neither shed tears during the ceremony.

A spokesperson for the pair confirmed the marriage and added that they “enjoyed an intimate reception at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills” afterwards.
