Denise Van Outen marries boyfriend Lee Mead in the Seychelles
Denise van Outen has married boyfriend Lee Mead in a private wedding in the Seychelles.
The couple exchanged their vows in a short beach-side ceremony at the luxury Labriz Silhouette Resort yesterday, with just their parents and a handful of friends as guests.
Denise wore a £3,000 white strapless dress while Lee, who won BBC1’s talent show Any Dream Will Do in 2007, wore a grey suit and pink shirt.
A source told the Daily Mail that the pair had wanted to keep their plans a secret: “Denise went away last weekend telling people she was simply going on holiday.
“It was literally just her parents, his parents and a couple of her best pals.”
After the ceremony, the wedding party celebrated the union on a yacht before the newlyweds returned to the hotel and their £12,000 Presidential suite room.
Denise was one of the judges on the talent show which landed Lee the lead role in Joseph and his Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat in the West End. The couple were both involved with other people during the filming of the talent show but got together shortly afterwards. Lee’s run in the West End finished at the start of this year.
