salma hayekSalma Hayek has married French businessman François-Henri Pinault for the second time, in a star-studded ceremony in Venice yesterday.

Salma and François-Henri first exchanged their vows in a civil ceremony in Paris on Valentine’s Day but held the second ceremony at the city’s famous opera house La Fenice yesterday so their friends and family could celebrate their union, close to where the couple first met in 2006.

Around 150 friends and family attended the blessing, including Salma’s best friend Penelope Cruz, her ex-boyfriend Edward Norton, Charlize Theron & Stuart Townsend, Woody Harrelson, Anna Wintour, Ziyi Zhang, Bono, Gael García Bernal, Olivier Martinez, Ashley Judd, David Blaine and former French President Jacques Chirac.

Salma wore a Balenciaga wedding gown and held a bouquet of orchids and stephanotis with crystals. Guests wore black tie and many used black & gold masks as they arrived for the ceremony.

A guest at the ceremony reported: “It was beautiful, they were delighted by how it went.”
