Dev Patel’s mum confirms Slumdog Millionaire romance

Dev Patel’s mum has confirmed he is dating his Slumdog Millionaire co-star Freida Pinto.

The pair sparked rumours of a romance with their red carpet behaviour during the award season - and added fuel to the rumours last week when they were spotted kissing and cuddling during a lunch date in Israel, where Freida is filming her next movie.

Dev’s mum told the Mirror that the couple are definitely together - and she couldn’t be happier about it: “First it was the film and now everything else seems to have slotted into place.

“Life can’t get any better for him. Freida is really beautiful and I am really happy for them. Yes, we knew he was flying to Israel to see her.”
