Alexa ChungArctic Monkeys’ frontman Alex Turner is reportedly planning to follow girlfriend Alexa Chung to the US.

Alex moved to London to be with Alexa late last year - leaving bandmates Jamie Cook, Nick O’Malley and Matt Helders behind in their native Sheffield - and now that the former T4 presenter is trying to score presenting gigs in the US, a source told the Sun that Alex will follow her across the Atlantic too.

The source explained: “Alex can’t bear to be parted from Alexa.

“The thought of being separated for months on end, with her trying to get TV work in America while he is in the UK, was too much for him.

“He’s madly in love. It has caused a stink with the other boys because it’s going to make coordinating band business a hell of a lot more difficult, but they’re happy for him.”

The couple began dating in the summer of 2007, after they met at a music festival. They finally confirmed their romance later that year.
