Jamie Lynn Spears’s boyfriend Casey Aldridge has been released from hospital in Mississippi a week after his car crash.

Casey experienced head injuries including a fractured skull when he was thrown from his car on the way back from a party last Saturday night. Driving four friends in the car, he swerved off the road into a ditch for some reason then overcorrected to get back onto the road, causing the car to flip. Casey was the only one of the five requiring medical treatment and he spent several days in intensive care so doctors could keep an eye on him.

A hospital source revealed that he was released yesterday: “Doctors are confident there aren’t going to be any complications.

“He just needs time to heal and he can do that at home.”

Jamie Lynn and Casey’s daughter Maddie turns one next month.
