jade goodyJade Goody’s mum Jackiey Budden is said to have requested that her daughter’s home is taken back off the market because she thinks it’ll be “too painful” to sell the property.

Jade bought the converted barn in 2007 and lived there with her two sons, Bobby and Freddie. After her cancer was diagnosed as terminal in February, Jade was adamant about returning to the home and Jackiey, husband Jack Tweed and family friend Kevin Adams were at her side when she died there in March. The property was placed on the market last month at £1million - but now Jackiey has said she doesn’t think it should be sold.

Jade’s granddad John Caddock told the Mirror: “Jackiey is in charge of what happens and she is finding it too painful to sell it. She says it would be like losing Jade again.

“She is not ready to leave the precious memories of Jade behind. That house had a lot of happy moments - like Jade’s wedding and a lovely family Christmas Day - and it is just too hard to let it go.

“I don’t think she’ll ever want to leave it behind. There is too much of Jade associated with the house.

“Jackiey would like Jack to live there and the boys could stay there with him from time to time - they’ve still got their bedrooms there.”

“It’s a special place for them too. No one’s putting pressure on her to sell it so I think it’s a good idea to keep the house.”

Jack, who is currently in jail on an assault charge, has said he doesn’t think he could live in the house because he’d been “looking for Jade around every corner”. Proceeds from the sale were expected to be added to the trust fund Jade established for her sons, who now live with their dad Jeff Brazier.
