Ashley Cole builds £100k recording studio as present for Cheryl Cole

Ashley Cole has reportedly decided to build wife Cheryl Cole her own recording studio.

The Chelsea and England football star is said to have set aside up to £100,000 to install a custom-built studio at their Surrey home so that she can work on her new solo projects away from Girls Aloud.

A source told the Mirror: “It shows that Cheryl and Ashley are still putting roots down together.

“It also shows she is looking toward a long career in music after the TV work has dried up because a studio like that requires a big commitment.

“Most people have little project studios at home based around a computer and a keyboard. We’re not talking a little home studio - this is a proper professional facility that will need a proper sound engineer.”
