Madonna is reportedly planning a commitment ceremony to show her devotion to boyfriend of six months, Jesus Luz.

The couple began dating late last year after meeting on a photoshoot for W magazine in Brazil. Male model Jesus was hired to pose with the star, who was then in the middle of her Sticky & Sweet Tour and recently separated from husband Guy Ritchie, and the two hit it off. Now Jesus has moved to Manhattan to be with the singer and her family, and has converted to her beloved Kabbalah religion from Catholicism.

Their relationship was rumoured to be in trouble in March but a source told the Sunday Mirror: “It wasn’t that the relationship went off the boil, it was more a matter of Madonna wanting to concentrate on her adoption bid of Mercy and they wanted to keep a low profile while that became the main focus.

“Madonna was devastated when the adoption was rejected the first time but now she wants to lavish some attention on Jesus and she’s keen to make sure they have a solid relationship for all the children’s sakes.

“They are totally besotted with each other and he’s really helped Madonna through this tough time.”

The pair are now said to be planning to exchange vows in a short Kabbalah ceremony - but more importantly, Jesus has been accepted by Madonna’s children - twelve year old Lourdes, eight year old Rocco and three year old David: “Lourdes mocks him by calling him The Babysitter, because he is so young. She likes him, but also likes winding him up.”
