denise_van_outen_02.jpgDenise van Outen has announced she and husband Lee Mead will have a second wedding later this year to allow more of their friends and family to celebrate their union.

Denise and Lee married in a private ceremony in the Seychelles last month, with only 20 friends and family in attendance - and she told the Mirror that it was exactly how she wanted it: “Selling my wedding to a magazine was never an option because I didn’t get married to make money. Me and Lee just aren’t like that.

“We both have good careers and that’s how we make our money. We started planning a romantic getaway the moment he proposed.

“A lot of our married friends who had big days said they got stressed and ended up forgetting things.

“We only had 20 people and I remember every minute. It’s the best thing I’ve ever done. I’m so happy.

“We’re going to have a big celebration in September with all of our friends who weren’t there.

“We’re having it at the house we just bought in Kent, which means we have a lot of work to do. I’ve just got back from my honeymoon and I’m up to my elbows in DIY.”

She added that they’ll be pretty busy with other things too - starting a family: “We’re working on it.”
