Amy Adams: Enchanted put me off the idea of a big wedding

Amy Adams has revealed that she’s not bothered about having a big white wedding after playing a fairy-tale princess in Enchanted.

Amy, who got engaged to boyfriend Darren Le Gallo last summer, explained recently that she can see them eloping rather than having an elaborate wedding: “After Enchanted, the idea of being in a big, white dress is not as exciting as one would think.

“I have a feeling that one day we will wake up and decide to get married and we’ll just go off and do it.

“Actually I would like a wedding that was just over. Isn’t that unromantic?

“There is so much emphasis on having the perfect wedding and I think that’s great if it’s something you have fantasised about your whole life, but that’s never been my fantasy.”
