Cheryl Cole and Kimberley Walsh have revealed they’re not too keen on the pole-dancing routine in the current Girls Aloud stage show.

With their bandmates Sarah Harding, Nadine Coyle and Nicola Roberts, the women are currently in the middle of the Out Of Control Arena Tour and the show features the women performing raunchy routines in a number of different sexy outfits - but pole-dancing in skintight PVC dominatrix-style costumes is their least favourite bit.

Cheryl told Hello magazine: “I must confess, I feel very uncomfortable with that routine.”

Kimberley added: “It’s not sleazy, it’s just a dance [but] I admit when my dad and gran came to watch, it felt a bit weird.

“I’m just not very good at swinging on [the pole].

“By the time we get to that stage of the show, I’m like, ‘Oh, God, here we go again!’”

The sold-out tour started in Manchester last month, hits Nottingham tonight, and finishes after 32 shows in Newcastle next month.
