Brooke Shields has seemingly changed her story about the alleged Kiefer Sutherland headbutting incident last week.

Kiefer is said to have attacked fashion designer Jack McCollough at a Costume Institute Gala after-party, leaving McCollough with a broken nose. Initial reports claimed Kiefer acted after McCollough bumped into Brooke so hard that she was knocked to the ground but McCollough denied it - and initially so did Brooke.

However, now Brooke has issued a statement through her lawyer suggesting the initial bump did happen: “While at [the after-party at SubMercer,] Brooke was bumped into by Jack McCollough, and Kiefer Sutherland became concerned.

“Kiefer has always been a gentleman in her company.”

Kiefer has been charged with third-degree assault over the incident and is due to appear in court about it next month.
