Cate Blanchett has revealed she and her husband Andrew Upton have a “what will be will be” attitude to expanding their family.

The couple have three sons - seven year old Dash, five year old Roman and Ignatius, who turned one last month - and the Elizabeth star explained recently: “I’d love to have more children. Just when, I don’t know.

“But the thing is, we hadn’t planned any of the others. They just popped out.

“So you shouldn’t overplan these things. If it happens, it would be great.”
