Samantha Janus has married her long-term boyfriend Mark Womack in a star-studded ceremony in London.

Many of Samantha’s Eastenders castmates attended the event at Claridges yesterday afternoon - including her characters’ family members Barbara Windsor (Peggy), Rita Simons (Roxy), Larry Lamb (Archie), Lauren Crace (Danielle) and Steve McFadden (Phil), and other co-stars including Patsy Palmer (Bianca), June Brown (Dot), Adam Woodyatt (Ian), Cheryl Fergison (Heather), Linda Henry (Shirley), Jo Joyner (Tanya) and Shona McGarty (Whitney).

Other guests included former All Saints members Natalie & Nicole Appleton, and Mel Blatt.

Samantha and Mark, who have been together for a decade. announced their engagement in February. Mark was married to another woman when they met on the set of Liverpool 1 but left her to pursue his relationship with Samantha. The couple have two children together eight year old Benjamin and three year old Lily-Rose, who both took part in yesterday’s ceremony.

Speaking of her wedding plans earlier this year, Samantha revealed: “I am really excited. I have got loads of butterflies in my tummy.

“I would like to have a full traditional wedding with a vintage theme if possible, kind of vintage and classic. Sleek and elegant, more like 1920s-style.”
