Kate Hudson is reportedly dating Madonna’s much-rumoured ex, Alex Rodriguez.

Bride Wars star Kate, who first met Rodriguez at an event in Miami late last year, was spotted cheering him on at a New York Yankees game at Yankee Stadium on Friday - and according to the New York Post, the pair hooked up afterwards.

A source at New York’s Mustang Grill restaurant told the newspaper that a bartender “was asking patrons not to go in the back room around 1am because A-Rod and Kate Hudson were back there making out.”

A member of staff from the restaurant confirmed that they were there together and that they had a private room.

Alex’s wife Cynthia filed for divorce last summer after claiming he was having “an affair of the heart” with the then also married Madonna. He and Madonna repeatedly denied rumours of a romance despite being linked for most of the year.

Kate divorced husband of six years Chris Robinson in 2006 and since dated Owen Wilson, Lance Armstrong and Dax Shepard.
