Amy Winehouse has been hospitalised again for alcohol abuse.

The singer spent a day in hospital at the start of the month due to dehydration - but sources close to the singer say that her return trip at the weekend was all about the alcohol.

A source explained: “She’s been drinking all day at her villa [in St Lucia] and as the evening wore on, we got worried.”

The singer was taken by ambulance to her local hospital on the Caribbean island and was released later that evening after doctors were assured she was alright.

Last week, her dad Mitch Winehouse said he’s worried Amy will kill herself with alcohol even though she’s over the worst of her drug problems and he’s not sure he can go through another year like last year - when she nearly died from a drug overdose and was in-and-out of hospital because of related health problems: “I’ve decided to distance myself, and whatever happens, happens. It’s her life. It’s her career. It’s her decision.”
