Jessica Biel: my looks stop me getting the good roles
Jessica Biel has said she thinks her looks have got in the way of her acting career.
Jessica made the move from TV - US drama 7th Heaven - to film in the early 2000s and has starred in a number of films including I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and The Illusionist but her new film Easy Virtue sunk without a trace in the UK on its release last year and her latest offering Powder Blue has gone straight to DVD.
She told Allure magazine recently: “It really is a problem. I have to be blunt.
“I’m in there with everybody else, fighting for the good parts.
“Yes, The Illusionist has made a difference - but a huge, massive difference, so I can pick and choose what I want? No.”
“I just want an opportunity. If you don’t like the audition, don’t hire me! But if you don’t want to even see me - that’s hurtful. And why? You know nothing about me!”
Do you think Katie Price's marriage to Alex Reid will last?
