Sean Penn has called off his divorce from wife Robin Wright Penn for a second time.

The couple have two teenage children together and married in 1996 after six years of dating. They first filed for divorce in December 2007 but four months later, asked the court to dismiss their request as they had reconciled. Milk star Sean filed for divorce a second time last month, but according to the New York Daily News, withdraw the request again this week.

A legal source explained: “This appears to imply that they’re reconciling again.

“It’s unlikely Sean Penn would request a dismissal for any other reason.”

Sean has previously called his decision to file for divorce the first time “an arrogant mistake”.
