Brooke Shields has revealed she regrets waiting until the age of 22 before having sex.

The actress, who was a child model from a young age and was just 14 when she filmed semi-nude and sex scenes for The Blue Lagoon, told Health magazine recently that she was very self-conscious as a teen.

She explained: “[I regret] not learning to love the way I looked earlier. I think I would have had sex a lot earlier.

“I would have lost my virginity earlier than I did, at 22, [because] I would have been much more in touch with myself.

“To me, that’s a health regret.”
