Danielle Lloyd could have lost her leg after being pushed onto a table of glasses in a nightclub on Sunday night.

The WAG was rushed to hospital in the early hours of Monday morning following the attack and needed emergency surgery on her left calf as well as around 20 stitches to repair a deep wound in her back.

Elliot Sorene, the trauma consultant who treated her, said yesterday: “I treated Miss Lloyd for a deep laceration to her left calf.

“She is very lucky that the major blood vessels and arteries were not involved, otherwise she would have been left permanently paralysed.

“I treated Miss Lloyd for a deep laceration to her left calf. I have advised Miss Lloyd to rest at home for two weeks before embarking on several months of intense physiotherapy.”

A source close to Danielle added: “She’s staying at home for the foreseeable future.

“At least two weeks of her work commitments have been cleared to allow her to rest.

“Danielle has been so busy of late with work and hates letting people down by pulling out of appointments. But she appreciates that she needs to take it easy and she’s got a great team around her to ensure that she has everything she needs.

“She’s on quite hardcore painkillers as the pain has really started to kick in.”

Danielle was at the club with her boyfriend Tottenham Hotspurs star Jamie O’Hara. The two women who pushed her have been arrested on suspicion of assault and been bailed to return for further questioning in July.
