Taylor Swift has said she’s not particularly on the look out for a new boyfriend.

The 19 year old singer has been single since splitting from Jonas Brothers star Joe Jonas last year but she told the Associated Press recently that she’s not desperately looking for her next famous piece of arm-candy: “I don’t look for boyfriends. I don’t really scour the awards shows for who I’m going to date.

“I think love happens when you’re not looking for it, and when it happens, I’m not going to be the one to over think it.”

Taylor and Joe are said to have broken up because their relationship had to come in second place to his teen idol status.

She added: “When you strategize a relationship too much, like, ‘we’re not gonna be public about it, and we’re gonna say this in interviews,’ when you think it all out, I think that complicates the relationship.

“I think that’s unfair for the relationship.”
