Vanessa Minnillo has dismissed rumours that her three year relationship with Nick Lachey is in trouble.

The couple started dating in the middle of 2006, just as Nick’s divorce from reality TV star Jessica Simpson was finalised - but earlier this year, their romance was rumoured to be on its last legs.

However, former TRL presenter Vanessa told Vegas DeLuxe recently: “This romance is still going strong.

“There will always be rumblings and rumours that we’ve broken up, but in fact, it’s very much still on - and it keeps on getting better.”

Pointing to a 5-carat ring on her middle finger, she jokingly added the relationship is going so well, she might be getting some special new jewellery soon: “It will be 10 carats when it moves to the fourth finger!”
