Peter Andre has said he’s annoyed by suggestions that he’s making money selling pictures of children or is considering selling his story in the light of his break-up from Katie Price.

The couple, who announced their separation after three-and-a-half years of marriage last month, are currently sharing custody of their two children Junior & Princess, and Peter was photographed on a day at the seaside with them the weekend before last.

On seeing the pictures of Peter holding the kids during their trip to Hove, Katie Twittered “Mmmmm, I smell set up pictures” - but Peter insists that wasn’t the case.

Writing in his long-standing column in New! magazine, he wrote: “The thought of profiting in any way from this terrible situation is totally beyond anything I would consider doing.

“Unfortunately, I am being followed by paparazzi constantly at the moment, and I’d have to stay in the house to avoid this.

“That’s no good when you’ve got kids because they need to go out sometimes, too.”
