Frank Lampard and his former fiancee Elen Rives are reportedly causing a headache for his England teammate Joe Cole and wife-to-be Carly Zucker.

Frank and Elen were still together when Joe and Carly sent them a joint invitation for their wedding on 20th June - and according to sources, both still intend to go. But, as their post-FA Cup Final meeting at Movida showed, they’re not exactly on friendly terms at the moment.

A source told the Mirror: “The situation with Frank and Elen is proving something of a headache for Joe and Carly.

“Besides the obvious frostiness between them there is the issue of where on Earth to sit them. But there was never any question of either Frank or Elen not attending.

“Frank is one of Joe’s closest friends so he was always going to go. Elen is a good friend of Carly, who wasn’t going to snub Elen just because she has split with Frank.

“When Frank’s mum Pat died last year Joe was the only Chelsea player at the funeral. He and Carly offered them a lot of support. So having them both there at the wedding is important to Joe and Carly.”
