Daniel Radcliffe will give up acting within a few years, according to his Harry Potter co-star Jason Isaacs.

Jason, who plays Lucius Malfoy in the film series, explained recently that when the run of fantasy films comes to an end, he wouldn’t be surprised if Daniel ducked behind the camera: “Daniel will potentially be a great director or producer.

“He’s very interested in behind-the-camera work.

“Remember, [he] has spent more hours in front of the camera in the last decade than most people have in their entire career.”

Daniel landed the role of the boy wizard at the age of 11 and is currently filming the two part final instalment Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Away from Harry Potter, he has also starred in the stage productions of Equus in both London and New York, and the WW1 film December Boys.
