After weeks of Team Peter articles, Katie Price is reportedly desperate to win back the public’s affection - and quite possibly estranged husband Peter Andre too.

While Peter was the one to file for separation nearly a month ago, the glamour model, also known as Jordan, has admitted she behaved badly during their marriage and is said to be keen to give their relationship another shot.

A source told the Mirror that over the last few days, Katie has started pleading with the Australian singer: “For weeks, Katie was being a complete cow to Pete, insisting he deal with her through her mother, Amy.

“But now Kate has sent texts begging him him to meet up - but he doesn’t want to.”

“She [has been] saying, ‘My life is ruined. Everyone just feels sorry for Pete and they’ve turned against me.’

“Katie moaned that she re-launched Peter’s career when they got together - and now HE is getting all the attention. She is worried fewer people are signing up for her internet fanclub - and thinks their fans have sided with Pete.”

Another source told the Sun that she’s worried she’s being painted as a bad mother, who is keeping Peter’s children away from him: “Katie is tired of suggestions she either doesn’t look after the children enough or that she won’t let Pete see them as much as is fair.

“What’s odd is that Peter had been moaning he didn’t see the kids enough, then when he gets the chance he hands them back to Katie.”

Peter was allowed to see son Junior and daughter Princess this weekend but returned them to Katie earlier than they had agreed, in order to keep to the written agreement drawn up by their lawyers. Peter is said to want joint custody of the children, who turn four and two respectively this month, as well as access to Harvey, Katie’s seven year old son from a previous relationship.
