Rachel Stevens reportedly lost her engagement ring and other jewellery in a robbery at her London home yesterday afternoon.

The former S Club 7 star, who appeared on last year’s Strictly Come Dancing was arriving back at her flat near Regent’s Park around 4pm yesterday when she was ambushed by three men.

A spokesperson for Scotland Yard confirmed: “It’s believed the woman returned to her flat and was followed in to the premises by three males.

“The suspects are understood to have threatened her before making off with a quantity of jewellery.”

A necklace and a Rolex watch are believed to have been taken along with Rachel’s engagement ring - given to her by fiance Alex Bourne. The items are said to have a combined worth of tens of thousands of pounds.

A spokesperson for Rachel confirmed the incident, saying: “Rachel did experience an intrusion and is shaken but otherwise OK.”

Rachel and Alex are set to marry in August.
