Miley Cyrus has reportedly found a new source of support following her break up from boyfriend of eight months, Justin Gaston.

Miley is said to have split up with male model Justin last Sunday, before leaving Los Angeles for Savannah, Georgia where she is filming her new movie The Last Song.

But according to the Sun, instead of concentrating on her work and having men-bashing slumber parties with her girlfriends, she’s reaching out to a Hannah Montana: The Movie co-star Steve Rushton for support.

A source told the newspaper: “Steve relocated to the US after signing his deal with Disney.

“Miley couldn’t wait for him to move. He first met her on the set of the Hannah Montana film after he was asked to play lead guitar for her band.

“They hit it off straight away. When they have been apart they have been spending hours instant messaging each other. She is smitten with him.”

The source added that Justin was threatened by Miley’s relationship with Steve, who initially rose to fame in pop band Son of Dork: “Justin never got on with Steve. He was put out by Steve’s fantastic relationship with Miley’s dad Billy Ray Cyrus.”
