Miley Cyrus has confirmed she’s “reconnected” with ex-boyfriend Nick Jonas - just days after reportedly splitting from Justin Gaston.

Last year, Miley revealed that she and Nick had dated for around two years and she “bawled for a month straight” when they broke up at the end of 2007. Nick was then rumoured to have had a fling with another fellow Disney teen star, Selena Gomez while Miley dated male model Justin from late last year until last weekend. Miley is said to have finished with Justin last Sunday before flying to Savannah, Georgia to film her new movie The Last Song - but rumours that she was thinking of dumping Justin to reunite with Nick have been swirling for nearly two months.

Now speaking on a Nashville radio show, she said she’s “definitely reconnected” with the Jonas Brothers star: “He’s my best friend, and we still hang out all the time.

“We don’t know what’s going to happen in the future, but right now we’re just kind of kicking it and hanging out as much as we can.”

The pair put their differences behind them few months ago when she sang a duet with Nick on the new Jonas Brothers song ‘Before the Storm’: “We both just kind of saw each other and kind of decided this whole thing is kind of stupid. We were all over the separation.

“I’m really happy to be back in their [Jonas Brothers‘] lives. And our families are super happy we’re hanging out again.”

Nick, along with brothers Joe and Kevin, accompanied Miley on her ‘Hannah Montana: Best of Both Worlds’ tour last year.
