Matt Damon isn’t bothered about turning 40.

The ‘Bourne Identity’ actor couldn’t care less about reaching the landmark age in October because he has been told by his ‘Invictus’ co-star Morgan Freeman, 72, it’s the best age to be.

Matt revealed: “I was talking to Morgan and someone said I was about to turn 40 and Morgan said, ‘Are you about to turn 40?’ I said I was and he said, ‘You are just coming into your prime.’ I said, ‘Really?’ And he replied, ‘The 40s are the best decade by far. That’s when things really get good.’ ”

As he gets ready to enter a new decade of his life, Matt - who has two children, Isabella, three, and 16-month-old Gia, with his wife Luciana Bozan, who also has an 11-year-old daughter Alexia from a previous relationship - is hoping to try his hand at directing.

Amy Winehouse has revealed she is bisexual.

The ‘Back to Black’ singer - who married Blake Fielder-Civil in May 2007 but got divorced in August 2009, after Blake filed for divorce on grounds of adultery - reportedly told a friend she has had relationships with women as well as men.

The 26-year-old star revealed to the pal: “So what? I like girls as well. I have had relationships with other women but that doesn’t mean I don’t still love Blake.

“There is something about being with a woman that is very satisfying. I don’t care what people think about me being bi - I do what feels good.”

Speaking with Amy’s consent the friend told the News of the World newspaper that Amy has feelings for other women and has a crush on Girls Aloud star Cheryl Cole.

Charlize Theron has reportedly split from her partner of nine years.

The actress - who first met Stuart Townsend on the set of ‘Trapped’ in 2001 - has told friends she split from the Irish actor after a trip to Mexico over the Christmas period, and has now stopped wearing an antique commitment ring he had given her as a sign of his love.

A friend of the couple said: “Stuart is gutted but Charlize said that she realised during the Mexican holiday the relationship was over. They had become more like brother and sister than lovers. It was she who ended it.”

The 34-year-old Hollywood actress is now reportedly living in their main home in the Hollywood Hills, while he has moved his belongings into their beach house.

The actress-turned-singer likes nothing more than falling head-over-heels for someone, even though she admits she is a “cautious” partner.

The 23-year-old beauty’s recent track with Robin Thicke begins, “Is there somebody who still believes in love?” which, she admits, she does.

She explained: “I love love. I f**king love love. What’s weird is that, from a certain point of view, that song could be about someone who’s jaded, but it could also be someone who has every hope in the world. I think that I’m a little bit of both. I’m very cautious, but I still throw my heart into it.”

Florence Welch doesn’t think the music industry is good for her sanity.

The Florence and the Machine singer - whose debut album ‘Lungs’ has been nominated for three BRIT awards - is wary about being famous, and doesn’t particularly like that side-effect of success.

She said: “I’m wary of the whole fame thing. I think it has a lot of negative aspects. Obviously, you’ve got to be prepared for people being negative about you. Hopefully it’ll make me stronger.

“I’m easily hurt. I don’t think this profession is any good for my sanity! I mean, do I have to talk about my weight and my spots? I’m very critical of myself. Everything I do, my inner voice never says, ‘Well done.’ It’s more like, ‘Argghh!’ ”

Kim Kardashian has denied claims she has had a nose job.

The 29-year-old socialite - who recently embarked on a new healthy eating and fitness regime after unflattering photos of her appeared on the internet - insists the rumours she has gone under the knife are false.

She said: “There was this thing on the cover of a magazine in the States saying that I’d had my nose done, but that’s probably one of my biggest insecurities and what I’d want done. It’s all made up.”

However, the brunette beauty wouldn’t rule out having cosmetic surgery in the future if she felt she needed it.
