Vanessa Hudgens feels “lucky” to have met Zac Efron.

The ‘High School Musical‘ star - who has been dating her co-star in the Disney movie series for the last four years - admits she is grateful they started their careers together.

She said: “We got lucky because we started off together, so I think people like us because they fell in love with our characters. Right off the bat, we had a connection. I think everybody could see it. When we had our audition, they paired us together. And he was adorable. I mean, he wasn’t the guy that he is today. Like, he had a gap in his teeth. He was a whole different person.”

Despite the early chemistry between Vanessa and Zac, the 21-year-old actress-and-singer isn’t ready to take their relationship to the next level and move in with the ‘17 Again’ star.

Cheryl Cole is set to compete in ‘Dancing with the Stars‘.

The Girls Aloud singer - who has been romantically linked to the show’s professional dancer Derek Hough - has reportedly been approached by bosses at the ABC network, who are keen to sign her up for the ballroom dance series in March next year.

A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “Her US team think it will be a great move for her and increase her profile stateside. Partnering her with Derek too would be a masterstroke and they want her to give it serious thought.

“Derek danced with Cheryl on her recent tour and enjoyed a sultry ballroom dance in her ‘Parachute’ video so the chemistry is certainly right.”

Britney Spears is reportedly set to be quizzed by social workers over allegations of child abuse.

The ‘Toxic’ singer - who has two sons, Sean Preston, four, and three-year-old Jayden James, with her ex-husband Kevin Federline - has been accused by her former bodyguard Fernando Flores of being an unfit mother, beating one of the tots with a belt and giving them both foods they were allergic to.

A source told The Sun newspaper: “Britney doesn’t mean to be a bad mother. But Flores feels she has so many issues she can’t be trusted around her boys.

“He claims the first really shocking incident was when she came marching into the pool house at her mansion and demanded his belt.

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban celebrated their fourth wedding anniversary with a romantic meal.

The couple - who have a 23-month-old daughter, Sunday Rose, together - marked the special occasion last week by dining out at exclusive Nashville restaurant Flyte and onlookers say they couldn’t keep their hands off each other during the evening.

One fellow diner told People: “Nicole looked stunning, very understated in a sleeveless dress and sandals. They were smiling and holding hands across the table. You could tell they were so in love.”

After their meal, the Oscar-winning actress and the country singer chatted with staff, who described them as a “delight”.

Simon Cowell is planning a couples-only dinner party for his fiancee.

The music mogul wants to show everyone in his life how much make-up artist Mezhgan Hussainy - who he got engaged to in February - means to him, and his friends are calling the plans a “big deal”.

A source close to the couple told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “To help make her feel at home, Simon’s agreed she can help him host an exclusive dinner party with only their closest friends invited. It’s a big deal for Simon as he doesn’t embrace domesticity easily.”

Guests have been told they can expect a “fun champagne fuelled do” and attendees are expected to include some of Simon’s closest friends, such as ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ judge Amanda Holden and her husband Chris Hughes and fellow judge Piers Morgan and his new wife Celia Walden.

Kelly Brook was reportedly dumped by her boyfriend because she was too high maintenance.

The ‘Piranha 3-D’ actress split from her England rugby player boyfriend Danny Cipriani earlier this month, and it has now been claimed the hunky sportsman decided to end the 22-month romance because of Kelly’s annoying habits.

The 30-year-old beauty is alleged to have constantly telephoned Danny, 22, when they were apart and would take up to three hours to get ready when they were due to go out.

A source told Reveal magazine: “She used to ring him up to eight times a day but Danny didn’t have anything to say after the third call. Once she even rang him to say she couldn’t find her earrings.
