The whole thing is really sad, but the truth is that, although Nick is (or seems to be) a really nice guy, it’s Jessica who has more money and talent. I guess it’s true that when you have two “competing” artists/partners, whether they be actors, singers or business people, there is always the chance of rivallry and jealousy. I’m not saying this is the case, obviously I have no idea, but when one partner is more successful it can cause a lot of resentment. I think everyone has an opinion on these two because they are both really likable characters, they’re young and attractive, and “Newlyweds” was VERY entertaining. I hope they make another (few) series’ if they do get back together. Maybe they’ll call it “Newlyweds Again” !

if i was nick i would get my 50%. when he married jess he had more money, that is why jess dad advised her not to sign the prenup that nick attorney drew up. joe simpson is a over obsessed dad, he needs to stay out of jess personal business. nick needs to get spousal support from that overexposed jessica simpson!!!!!

I think Nick is disgusting for claiming spousal support as well as half of Jessica’s earnings! You marry for love not for money. Why is it marriage always ends about who gets what money off who, instead off going seperate ways and getting on with life? They should have made a pre-nup! However, due to Jessica’s neglect to this, she faces loses alot of money to a money grabbing ex-husband who now only see’s her as a money ticket. Get a bit of respect Nick! Spend all that spousal support well with Minnillo, as you so obviously need it!
